Dizziness is one of the most frequent complaints in patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD). Traditionally, it was believed that dizziness in PD is mainly associated with orthostatic hypotension (OH). Recently, however, data from various studies have been obtained, suggesting the contribution of both peripheral and central vestibular dysfunction (VDF) in the development of balance disorders in this category of patients. Benign positional paroxysmal vertigo (BPPV) is one of the variants of peripheral vestibulopathy. Description of the clinical case. The article presents a clinical case of successful diagnosis and treatment of BPPV in PD. Conclusion. BPPV is one of the possible causes of dizziness in patients with PD, which can be easily diagnosed and successfully treated.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Обоснование. ДППГ представляет собой одну из возможных причин головокружений у пациентов с БП, которую можно легко диагностировать и успешно лечить.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Parkinson's disease</kwd><kwd>vertigo</kwd><kwd>benign paroxysmal positional vertigo</kwd><kwd>orthostatic hypotension</kwd><kwd>Dix-Hallpike maneuver</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>болезнь Паркинсона</kwd><kwd>головокружение</kwd><kwd>доброкачественное пароксизмальное позиционное головокружение</kwd><kwd>ортостатическая гипотензия</kwd><kwd>маневр Холлпайка</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Kim S.D., Allen N.E., Canning C.G., Fung V.S.
