More recently, patients with this diagnosis were considered doomed. Now we are talking about the potential cure for each patient, regardless of the dissemination process. These achievements are atributable not only to the development of chemotherapy and more intensive surgery, but also to increased diagnostic capabilities, a rational tactic of treating patients depending on prognostic factors. As a result of the study of the profiles of gene expression and the spectrum of molecular damage, genes determining the susceptibility to sporadic, hereditary forms of GCTs were identified. The article presents the modern molecular genetic characteristics of GCTs, as well as the analysis of inherited factors that predispose to the development of GCTs and signaling cascades involved in oncogenesis.</p>
В статье представлены современные молекулярно-генетические характеристики ГО, а также анализ наследуемых факторов, которые предрасполагают к развитию ГО и сигнальных каскадов, вовлеченных в онкогенез.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>germ cell tumors</kwd><kwd>prognostic factors</kwd><kwd>biomarkers</kwd><kwd>diagnostics</kwd><kwd>mutations</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>герминогенные опухоли</kwd><kwd>факторы прогноза</kwd><kwd>биомаркеры</kwd><kwd>диагностика</kwd><kwd>мутации</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Silverberg E.
