Mexametry and the MASI index were used as control methods.</p> <p><bold>Results. </bold>Both according to mexametry data and the MASI scale, the use of IPL monotherapy in patients with melasma with epidermal pigment has shown pronounced clinical effectiveness, which allows to recommend its use in practical healthcare.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Обоснование. </bold>Механизм, с помощью которого IPL-системы способны улучшать пигментацию, неясен, но была предложена версия образования интраэпидермальных микрокорок с их последующим отшелушиванием.</p> <p><bold>Цель исследования: </bold>оценка эффективности монотерапии мелазмы с помощью интенсивного импульсного света (IPL).</p> <p><bold>Методы.</bold> В исследовании приняли участие 15 пациентов женского пола в возрасте 27–42 лет, средний возраст 34,5±3,2 года. В качестве методов контроля использовали мексаметрию, а также индекс MASI. Результаты.
