LADA diabetes is a clinically and metabolically hybrid form of type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) with a slowly progressive course. Due to its similarity in the early stages in clinical course with DM2 and in pathogenesis – with DM1, it is often overlooked in clinical practice. The article presents current criteria for the diagnosis of latent autoimmune diabetes in adults and describes differentiated tactics for choosing therapy.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Медленно развивающийся иммуноопосредованный сахарный диабет взрослых (LADA-диабет) – один из наиболее распространенных вариантов атипичного диабета. LADA-диабет является клинически и метаболически гибридной формой сахарного диабета (СД) 1 и 2 типов с медленно прогрессирующим течением. Из-за его сходства на ранних стадиях по клиническому течению с СД2 и по патогенезу – с СД1 часто упускается из виду в клинической практике.
