Modern diagnostics are based on an assessment of the clinical manifestations of the disease, consideration of risk factors, and laboratory results, such as a hydrogen-methane breath test and small intestinal aspirate culture. Treatment of SIBOS includes intestinal microbial decontamination, restoration of normal microflora, elimination of nutritional deficiencies, and correction of risk factors for this condition. This review systematizes modern algorithms for the diagnosis and treatment of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth syndromw (SIBOS), based on the principles of evidence-based medicine. It presents data on the role of probiotics and synbiotics in restoring the intestinal microbiome and preventing relapses of dysbiotic disorders.</p>
Представлены данные о роли пробиотиков и синбиотиков в восстановлении кишечного микробиоценоза и профилактике рецидивов дисбиотических нарушений.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>small intestinal bacterial overgrowth syndrome</kwd><kwd>small intestinal microbiota</kwd><kwd>intestinal microbiome</kwd><kwd>intestinal microflora</kwd><kwd>breath test</kwd><kwd>rifaximin</kwd><kwd>antibiotics</kwd><kwd>elemental diet</kwd><kwd>probiotics</kwd><kwd>synbiotics</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>синдром избыточного бактериального роста</kwd><kwd>микробиота тонкого кишечника</kwd><kwd>кишечный микробиоценоз</kwd><kwd>кишечная микрофлора</kwd><kwd>дыхательный тест</kwd><kwd>рифаксимин</kwd><kwd>антибиотики</kwd><kwd>элементная диета</kwd><kwd>пробиотики</kwd><kwd>синбиотики</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Синдром избыточного бактериального роста в тонкой кишке: МКБ-10: К63.8: клинические рекомендации.
