Аннотация
The article discusses the problem of functional constipation (FC). The diagnostic criteria (Rome III criteria) for FC, therapeutic approach for patients with FC, and the results of evaluation of the use of stimulant laxatives bisacodyl and sodium picosulfate as a drugs with proven efficacy are presented. High efficacy of these drugs certainly improved their rating in the recommendations for management of patients with FC.
