Resumo
The article presents the current view on impact of magnesium level in the body on the development of the embryo, newborn and child health, as well as their further functioning. It is emphasized that magnesium is involved in the formation of catalyst sites and stabilization of regulatory sites of numerous enzymes in glial and nervous tissues. In addition to the active influence of the fetus, and further growth and development of the child, magnesium plays an important role in the life of the pregnant woman.
