Resumo
Gastroduodenal ulcer bleedings represent more than half of all the bleeding of the gastrointestinal tract with high mortality. There is an experience of the use of antisecretory drugs for the purpose of hemostasis and prevention of this terrible complication. The article describes the pathogenetic justification of the use of proton pump inhibitors, and comparative effectiveness of their application.
