Kliniko-ekonomicheskie aspekty effektivnosti primeneniya Kavintona i Kavintona forte u bol'nykh s khronicheskoy ishemiey mozga. Issledovanie «KVADRA»

The study was aimed to the evaluation of the efficacy and safety of a new treatment regimen with drugs Cavinton and Cavinton forte in patients with chronic cerebral ischemia (CCI). Main group (120 patients) received injectable Cavinton for 7 days, then oral Cavinton for 90 days along with standard therapy. The control group (120 patients) received only standard therapy. Analysis of efficiency was performed with account of dynamics of scale scoring in accordance to the study protocol. Safety was assessed based on the analysis of changes in neurological status, vital signs, parameters of vital functions, ECG and laboratory tests, as well as by analyzing of adverse events occurred. The clinical and economic evaluation of the cost of therapy in patients with CCI was performed. The results of study allow to recommend a new treatment regimen using Cavinton and Cavinton forte as an effective, safe and economically viable therapy in patients with CCI.
