Resumo

The article discusses the current understanding of the treatment of bronchial asthma, one of the most widespread and socially significant diseases in the world. The issues of control of the diseases, training and long-term management of patients are discussed. The basic groups of drugs currently recommended for management of adult asthmatic patients with stable course of disease are presented. Stepwise therapy of bronchial asthma is considered. The data on new drugs recommended for the treatment of the disease in recent years are presented.
