Resumo
The article presents the experience of use of zuclopenthixol in the treatment of schizophrenia with a psychotic equivalent. There were positive results in reduction of psychomotor agitation, aggression, anxiety and malignant affect as a part of the paranoid syndrome. Given the low toxicity of the drug, it is particularly useful in psychotic disorders in elderly and senile patients.
