Аннотация
Остеопороз является одним из самых распространенных и социально значимых заболеваний в мире. В статье приводятся современные данные по эпидемиологии, классификации, патогенезу и факторам риска остеопороза. Особое внимание уделено диагностике - рентгенографии, остеоденситометрии, лабораторным методам. Медикаментозное лечение остеопороза представлено с использованием данных медицины, основанной на доказательствах.
