Аннотация
В современном обществе бронхиальная астма (БА) относится к числу наиболее распространенных заболеваний. По данным мировой статистики, в мире насчитывается около 300 млн больных БА. Так, среди взрослого населения болезнь регистрируется более чем в 5 % случаев; дети болеют еще чаще - до 10 %. Есть даже страны, в которых распространенность БА среди населения достигает 15 % (Новая Зеландия, Ирландия). Имеется также немало достоверных свидетельств роста распространенности БА во многих странах. Несмотря на то что в последние два десятилетия отмечен безусловный прогресс как в диагностике, так и в лечении БА, вопросы диагностики, лечения и контроля остаются актуальными. Основной задачей лечения БА является достижение контроля заболевания, который подразумевает отсутствие симптомов болезни или их минимальную выраженность, отсутствие ограничений в повседневной деятельности и потребности в препаратах неотложной помощи (или она минимальна) и крайне низкую частоту обострений. Контроль БА, который заключается в устранении проявлений заболевания, достигается с помощью адекватной и рациональной медикаментозной терапии.
