Аннотация

Ювенильный артрит (ЮА) - хроническое воспалительное заболевание суставов, в отсутствие адекватного рано начатого лечения приводящее к тяжелым деструктивным изменениям, серьезным функциональным нарушениям, инвалидизации, а в некоторых случаях - к фатальному исходу. Современные методы лечения ЮА основываются на применении наиболее эффективных средств, позволяющих добиваться развития стойкой ремиссии и обнадеживающих отдаленных исходов заболевания. Комплексный подход с рациональным использованием традиционной терапии, включающей симптом-модифицирующие и болезнь-модифицирующие базисные противовоспалительные препараты, а также своевременное использование принципиально новых генно-инженерных биологических препаратов (особенно пациентами, рефрактерными к традиционной терапии) являются ключом к улучшению прогноза и качества жизни больных ЮА.
