Аннотация

Проблема остеоартроза (ОА) и метаболического синдрома (МС) стала актуальной в настоящее время как в связи с ростом частоты ожирения, так и с увеличением продолжительности жизни населения. В литературе появились данные о взаимосвязи ОА с метаболическими нарушениями. Основной причиной МС служит инсулинорезистентность, которая запускает порочный круг симптомов, в итоге приводящих к появлению осложнений, в частности к возникновению и прогрессированию ОА. В обзоре освещены последние данные литературы о взаимосвязях ОА и МС, показана роль снижения массы тела на клинические проявления ОА.
