Онкологические заболевания часто имеют осложнения в виде сопутствующих психиатрических расстройств, среди которых наиболее часто встречаются депрессия, тревога и проблемы адаптации. В настоящее время существует достаточно данных об эффективности и переносимости селективных ингибиторов обратного захвата серотонина, в частности сертралина, при терапии депрессив-ных расстройств. Однако эффективность и безопасность большинства антидепрессантов при лечении пациентов с онкопатологией остаются малоизученными. В предлагаемом обзоре приводятся результаты клинических исследований последних, лет по оценке эффектов сертралина в психоонкологии. Представленные данные свидетельствуют об эффективности и хорошей переносимости Золофта у онкологических пациентов с депрессией, облегчении интенсивности приливов у пациенток с раком молочной железы, принимавших тамоксифен и использовавших сертралин для лечения депрессии. Результаты доклинических исследований указывают на потенциальную противоопухолевую активность препарата.
