详细

The actual medical problem is cerebrovascular disease associated with hypertension and atherosclerosis. This article reveals a wide range of issues of dental care in patients with cerebrovascular disease. Important practical recommendations include blood pressure monitoring, the use of a minimum amount of anesthetic, a very low concentration of adrenaline added (1 : 200,000), the provision of reliable local anesthesia, and pain control when performing dental procedures. Anticoagulant treatment is not a contraindication for dental treatment.
