Тромбоз почечных вен является наиболее редкой формой тромботического поражения сосудов почек, до настоящего времени мало знакомой практикующим нефрологам. Тромбоз почечных вен известен как серьёзное осложнение нефротического синдрома, независимо от его этиологии, встречающееся более чем у трети больных.
