It was shown that pelvic floor muscle training under biofeedback control is effective in the treatment of various types of urinary incontinence. The absence of contraindications and side effects, and potentials for combination with other drugs (use of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors, and others) allows to consider this method as a first line treatment of urinary incontinence after radical prostatectomy.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В клиническом исследовании, включившем 75 пациентов, перенесших радикальную простатэктомию (РПЭ) по поводу рака предстательной железы, проведена оценка эффективности тренировки мышц таза, направленной на восстановление удержания мочи и эректильной функции после этого хирургического вмешательства. Показано, что тренировка мышц тазового дна под контролем биологической обратной связи является эффективным методом лечения различных типов недержания мочи.
