In the course of the work, it was established that video games have become an important tool for shaping political discourse and constructing political images, while revealing a significant transformation in the representation of Ukraine: from not being represented as a subject in the 2000s to positioning as an independent state after 2014. Against the background of the fact that the global video game market is about 185 billion dollars with an audience of 2.5 billion people, and 66% of Russians play video games, it is especially important to note that most games are created not by Ukrainian, but by foreign developers, while the image of Russia has evolved from neutral to negative, and after 2022, most games allow you to participate only on the side of Ukraine or its Western allies. Based on the conducted research, recommendations for the development of the domestic gaming industry are proposed, including tax incentives, the creation of their own game distribution platforms, the development of game consoles and support for mobile games, which is necessary for the formation of an effective counter-discourse in the modern information space.</p>
На основе проведенного исследования предложены рекомендации по развитию отечественной игровой индустрии, включающие налоговые льготы, создание собственных платформ распространения игр, разработку игровых консолей и поддержку мобильных игр, что необходимо для формирования эффективного контрдискурса в современном информационном пространстве</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>video games</kwd><kwd>political discourse</kwd><kwd>political images</kwd><kwd>Ukrainian conflict</kwd><kwd>gaming industry</kwd><kwd>gamification of politics</kwd><kwd>information warfare</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>видеоигры</kwd><kwd>политический дискурс</kwd><kwd>политические образы</kwd><kwd>украинский конфликт</kwd><kwd>игровая индустрия</kwd><kwd>геймификация политики</kwd><kwd>информационное противоборство</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The study was carried out within the framework of project No. 124102900048-1 “Gamification and Artificial Intelligence Technologies as an Innovative Tool for Implementing the State Youth Policy of the Russian Federation: Strategies, Mechanisms and Practices”, which was implemented at the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences based on the results of the selection of scientific projects supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Expert Institute for Social Research.</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Исследование выполнено в рамках проекта № 124102900048-1 «Технологии геймификации и искусственного интеллекта как инновационный инструмент реализации государственной молодежной политики РФ: стратегии, механизмы и практики», который реализован в Институте научной информации по общественным наукам РАН по итогам отбора научных проектов, поддержанных Министерством науки и высшего образования РФ и Экспертным институтом социальных исследований.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Belov S.I.
