As a result, there are risks of an erroneous assessment of the compliance / non-compliance of natural water with the established safety and quality requirements. A simple technique for the quantitative study of such a risk is proposed. It is shown that itsmaximum level is limited to 50% when managerial decisions are made under conditions of complete uncertainty. A method for taking into account the considered risks in resolving disputable situations based on the available evidence is proposed.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Стандартные правила оценки показателей качества природной воды предусматривают проведение измерений с погрешностью, которая часто соизмерима с абсолютным значением контролируемой величины. Вследствие этого возникают риски ошибочной оценки соответствия/несоответствия природной воды установленным требованиям безопасности и качества. Предложена простая методика количественного исследования такого риска. Показано, что его максимальный уровень ограничен 50%, когда управленческие решения принимаются в условиях полной неопределенности.
