Abstract
The situation in the labor market has a significant impact on the development of the region's economy. The peculiarities of the regional labor market are determined by the territorial, geopolitical and economic components of a particular region. In the article, the authors, based on the analysis of statistical data, present an assessment of changes in the conjunctural components of the labor market of the Russian Far East using the proposed system of factors. The main demographic problems hindering the development of the personnel potential of the region are identified. Particular attention is paid to the problem of structural discrepancy between the parameters of labor demand and its supply, which arises in connection with problems and contradictions in the interaction of the labor market and educational institutions. The ways of improving the interaction of educational institutions with the subjects of the labor market in order to meet the needs of the region in personnel are proposed.Acknowledgments:The study was carried out with the support of the Far Eastern State Transport University.
