Cadaveric organ donation in Russia: bioethical aspects

Abstract

This article considers cadaveric organ donation regulation issues in Russia. The current legislation on organ donation and the draft of a new one are analyzed from the ethics perspective. An attempt to determine the most morally acceptable ways of a man’s «living will» fixation regarding his attitude towards organ donation was made.
