Abstract
The article is devoted to one of the most significant problems of the contemporary philosophy of consciousness. The essence of the problem is to explain the correlation between the material body and non-material consciousness from theoretical point of view. The specific character of the impersonal consciousness conception, which was worked out within the bounds of the philosophy of anthropocosmism and which based on the ontology of universal monism is analyzed against the background of the traditional decisions of this problem (interactionism, epiphenomenalism, parallelism, neutral monism, eliminative materialism, functionalism). The author comes to the conclusion that the conception of impersonal consciousness theoretically admits the following things: influence of consciousness on physical objects, influence of physical objects on consciousness, alternative ontological states of consciousness, existence of consciousness out of causal link with physical brain.
