Abstract

From 1996 till 2010 in our hospital 136 patients with coronary heart disease complicated by heart failure underwent surgical treatment. The patients were divided into 2 groups: I - the patients with a left ventricular aneurysm (n = 70), II - the patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICMP) (n = 66 patients). All the patients underwent coronary artery bypass surgery, reconstruction of the left ventricle (Dor procedure), the correction of mitral regurgitation.
Hospital mortality in group II was 5.4%, all the patients in group I had surgery safely. All the surviving patients after surgery have decreased the size of the left ventricle decreased spherical cavity of the ventricle, increased its fraction. 10 - year survival rate in group I was 78% in the II - 56,5%. Freedom from heart failure of high functional classes (NYHA III, IV), 10 years after surgery the patients in group I was 80.2%, in group II - 68%.
The surgical procedure on all components of cardiac pathology in the patients with coronary artery disease and heart failure can achieve satisfactory long-term results.
