Durkgame's scientific-research program inmedical sociology

Abstract

Merits and drawbacks of Durkheimian research programme in its applications to medical sociology are discussed. It is argued that the programme under consideration can serve as conceptual basis of medical sociology investigations only in conjunction with other two classical programmes - sociologies of Marx and Weber.
