Аннотация

Хронический кашель (ХК) является мультидисциплинарной проблемой медицины, что объясняется различными причинами развития кашля, осложнениями, трудностями диагностики. Больные с жалобами на кашель - одни из наиболее частых посетителей врачей первичного звена, терапевтов, пульмонологов, оториноларингологов, педиатров. Наиболее распространенными причинам ХК являются заболевания верхних дыхательных путей, бронхиальная астма и гастроэзофагеальная рефлюксная болезнь. Это так называемая триада кашля. Существует категория «непонятного» (идиопатического) кашля. Современное представление о механизмах развития ХК связывают с концепцией гиперчувствительного кашлевого синдрома. Менеджмент ХК включает протуссивную (protussive) и антитуссивную (antitussive) терапию.
