Синдром Жильбера в свете нового взгляда на эффекты гипербилирубинемии

Аннотация
Ранее билирубин считался потенциально опасным продуктом жизнедеятельности, а синдром Жильбера, характеризующийся умеренным повышением системного уровня неконъюгированного билирубина, воспринимался как патологическое состояние, требующее коррекции гипербилирубинемии. Однако последние исследования показывают, что молекула билирубина служит модулятором различных биологических функций в организме и обладает мощными антиоксидантными и противовоспалительными свойствами, иммуномодулирующим и антипролиферативным эффектом, а также способностью регулировать метаболизм с очевидными клиническими и даже терапевтическими последствиями. Поэтому умеренную гипербилирубинемию можно рассматривать как протекцию от развития широкого спектра «болезней цивилизации». В обзоре анализируются результаты актуальных исследований, указывающих на новые свойства билирубина и механизмы их реализации, а также возможное клиническое значение гипербилирубинемии с формированием нового взгляда на синдром Жильбера.
