Construction trust No. 11 in Kuibyshev: housing construction in 1946-1953
Abstract

History of the Regional industrial exhibition of 1935 in Zagorodny park of Kuibyshev
Abstract
The reconstruction of the Zagorodny Park remains one of the most important tasks for the city of Samara. A detailed study of its history should form the basis of this large-scale project. The park opened in 1932 and has largely retained its original layout to this day. However, in its early days, the park served entirely different purposes. This work was undertaken to study and introduce archival materials from one of the key periods in the park's early years—1935. Publications in the Volzhskaya Kommuna newspaper for this period are examined.

Designing a residential complex while preserving the Spirit of place
Abstract
Former industrial zones are increasingly attracting attention as housing development sites. Their well-developed infrastructure and convenient transportation links make them attractive to investors. Redevelopment projects include plans to create modern transportation arteries, commercial, and social facilities. However, such initiatives face challenges. Uniform architectural designs and a lack of local amenities can render new neighborhoods monotonous and lacking in character. Therefore, it is important to preserve the "Spirit of place" and the unique atmosphere of the surrounding area. This requires a comprehensive approach to planning and implementation that takes into account local characteristics and the needs of residents.

Pilot project for the renovation of the historical environment within the boundaries of Five corners square
Abstract
This article examines the historical preconditions for the further spatial and functional development of one of the administrative and business axes of Samara's urban planning system. The study resulted in a pilot urban planning proposal for a possible continuation of the idea put forward in the 1937 "Greater Kuibyshev" master plan for the city, which envisaged the formation of an administrative axis from the Volga bank to what is now Nikitinskaya Square. This proposal was partially implemented over the ten years following the war. The first stage of the pilot project proposes the renovation of the development from Yarmarochnaya Street to Artsybushevskaya Street, followed by the phased creation of a new Five Corners Square and the extension of the axis to Gubernsky Market (Nikitinskaya Square).
