The purpose of the study is indicated the choice of the optimal option for the construction of temporary housing. The features of the construction of temporary housing are considered. The characteristics of two groups of temporary housing are presented, their advantages and disadvantages are highlighted. A comparison was made of containers and prefabricated structures when used as temporary housing. The results of comparing the characteristics of the considered options for the construction of temporary housing are presented in the table. The positive aspects of modular construction are listed in comparison with traditional construction methods.
