Strategic development vector of the EAEU and Central Asian countries in the framework of economic security priorities

Resumo

It is extremely important to conduct a comprehensive research of a number of important aspects of the strategic development of the EAEU states and Central Asia. The article analyzes the economic instruments of cooperation and international trade within the framework of the priorities of ensuring economic security. Mechanisms of joint opposition to external economic and political threats and internal imbalances were identified. The current problems of economic integration of the EAEU states are considered. Significant differences in the level of economic development of the member states of the integration bloc were taken into account. The geopolitical and economic-geographical features of the Central Asian countries are analyzed. The analysis of methodological approaches to the study of the characteristics and features of the interaction of key subsystems and economic practices of the EAEU states and Central Asia is carried out. Based on the analysis of the results of socio-economic transformations in the EAEU and Central Asian countries, the following conclusions have been formulated.The strengthening of economic mechanisms and the deepening of the intentions of countries within the framework of the integration strategy to mitigate the negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic is noted.It is extremely important to strengthen cooperation in a wide variety of industries and spheres of activity in order to support a sustainable economic recovery.

Short-term qualitative forecasting of inflation trends in the Eurasian Economic Union based on Elliott Wave Dynamics

Amidst high volatility of modern macrosystems' dynamic parameters, short-term forecasting tools are of particular value. The article shows the applicability of the Elliott Wave Dynamics toolkit to the tasks of qualitative forecasting of monthly consumer price indices. The study is based on the materials of the Eurasian Economic Union. The article is devoted to the study of the main trends in the development of transport and logistics infrastructure and logistics cooperation between Russia and Asian countries under the influence of external constraints. The authors noted that the awareness of the need to develop national transport and logistics infrastructure both in Russia and Asian countries is a necessary condition for further economic growth of the national economies in the proposed circumstances. It is embodied in the transport and infrastructure projects developed and started to be implemented and will be of a long-term strategic nature.

The impact of foreign investments on Azerbaijan's non-oil sector

It is known that foreign investments have a positive impact on the economic development of any country. This effect manifests itself in the expansion of various spheres of activity, the development of human capital, an increase in GDP and tax revenues to the budget and, in general, in the improvement of all macroeconomic indicators of the country. Considering the positive impact of foreign investments on the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan at the moment, it is obvious how relevant research in this area is. The article considers foreign investments as an important factor of economic development and examines their impact on the non-oil sector.The advantages of foreign investments in terms of increasing the competitiveness of national production, the development of productive forces, increasing employment, access to new technologies, increasing exports and national income are considered. The necessity of improving legislation in terms of attracting this type of investments to the country is substantiated. Recommendations to increase the attractiveness of foreign investments and their effectiveness in the development of the non-oil sector have been put forward. Methods of comparative analysis, factor analysis, grouping and logical approach were applied.

Scenarios of economic development of Uzbekistan in conditions of instability

The development of new trends in world politics, the complication of globalization processes, the long-term consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and cyclical fluctuations in the world economy have highly actualized the study of the economic positions of Central Asian countries, in particular the Republic of Uzbekistan. The author studied the current state and trends in the development of the national economy of Uzbekistan and identified trends and scenarios for the further development of the transformed economy in conditions of instability of the world economy. When choosing priority areas in the sectors of the economy, the emphasis should be placed on those areas and technology that will give the maximum effect for resource conservation, growth of competitiveness of domestic products, sustainable employment, reduction of transaction costs and growth of human capital. The method of scenarios is used, which allows combining factors and conditions of development within a limited number of alternative models of economic growth. With the use of modern model analytical tools, this method allows to assess the most likely consequences of their implementation.The scenarios considered represent the extreme hypothetical directions of the long-term development of the national economy and determine the framework for optimal solutions. The article is of interest to postgraduates, doctoral students, as well as specialists interested in the economy of Central Asian countries, in particular Uzbekistan.
