The Jack pine is a valuable species for recultivation purposes in the conditions of the European part of Russia, in this regard, the progenity tests of this species is necessary for its further introduction. As a result of determining the germination ability of seeds, sufficiently high germinative capacity was revealed, which indicates the possibility of using them to create a regional seed base.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Приведены результаты анализа химических свойств верхних супесчаных горизонтов слаборазвитых почв Егорьевского месторождения фосфоритов. Представлены значения мощности лесной подстилки, плотности и водопроницаемости данных почв. Охарактеризована ценность сосны Банкса как породы, используемой в целях рекультивации в условиях европейской части России. Выявлены достаточно высокие посевные качества семян сосны Банкса, определенные по их всхожести. Указана возможность использования этих семян для создания региональной семенной базы. Проанализированы морфологические признаки одно- и двухлетних семян (шишек) сосны Банкса. Установлены более высокие значения всхожести семян, собранных с однолетних шишек.
