It has been established that in 2021, in the territories of most Federal Districts of the Russian Federation, there is a predominant decrease in the rate of carbon accumulation in the forest fund by 8...39 % compared to 2010. Based on the analysis of forest planning documents, the gradation of the subjects of the Federation according to the level of change in the carbon budget was performed. During the period under review, there were negative trends in reducing the carbon budget in forests in 62 regions of the Russian Federation. The largest number of critical regions are located in the Far Eastern Federal District, which is explained by its remoteness, poor development of transport and logistics, as well as significant reserves of forest resources compared to other federal districts. It was found that in critical regions during the analyzed period, carbon losses in the forest fund amounted to 335% in the Magadan Region, up to 235 % in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and more than 180 % of the carbon budget in the Khabarovsk Territory. A list of the most significant measures aimed at reducing carbon emissions and losses in regional forestry systems has been identified. Measures to reduce the burning of forests are classified as key. The comprehensive implementation of such measures will lead to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from 264,4 to 142,4 million tons of CO<sub>2</sub>-eq./the year until 2030 The necessary amount of financing for additional fire-fighting measures for the period 2024–2030 has been determined, amounting to 28,964,8 million rubles.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Рассмотрены вопросы результативности лесохозяйственных мероприятий, направленных на снижение горимости лесов в региональных системах лесного хозяйства. Установлено, что в 2021 г. на территориях большинства Федеральных округов Российской Федерации наблюдается преимущественное снижение темпов накопления углерода в лесном фонде на 8…39 % по отношению к 2010 г. На основании анализа документов лесного планирования выполнена градация субъектов Федерации по уровню изменения бюджета углерода. В рассматриваемый период имели место негативные тенденции по снижению бюджета углерода в лесах в 62 субъектах Российской Федерации. Наибольшее количество критических регионов находиться в Дальневосточном федеральном округе, что объясняется его удаленностью, слабой развитостью транспорта и логистики, а также значительными запасами лесных ресурсов по сравнению с другими федеральными округами. Установлено, что в критических регионах за анализируемый период, потери углерода в лесном фонде составили в Магаданской области 335 %, в Ненецком автономном округе до 235 % и в Хабаровском крае более 180 % бюджета углерода. Определен перечень наиболее значимых мероприятий, направленных на сокращение выбросов и потерь углерода в региональных системах лесного хозяйства. В разряд ключевых, отнесены мероприятия по снижению горимости лесов. Комплексная реализация подобных мер обусловит сокращение выбросов парниковых газов с 264,4 до 142,4 млн т CO<sub>2</sub>-экв./год до 2030 г.
