According to current ideas, correction of L-glutamine deficiency is one of the important components of adjuvant therapy for HIV-infected patients within general nutritional support strategy. This measure helps to slow development of AIDS, reduce side effects of antiretroviral therapy and enhance effectiveness.</p>
Эта мера помогает замедлить развитие СПИДа, уменьшить побочные эффекты антиретровирусной терапии и повысить ее эффективность.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>L-glutamine</kwd><kwd>metabolism</kwd><kwd>pharmacological effects</kwd><kwd>HIV-infection</kwd><kwd>AIDS</kwd><kwd>immune dysfunction</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>L-глутамин</kwd><kwd>метаболизм</kwd><kwd>фармакологические эффекты</kwd><kwd>ВИЧ-инфекция</kwd><kwd>СПИД</kwd><kwd>иммунная дисфункция</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Rajendram R, Preedy VR, Patel VB.
