Due to the similarity of their symptoms, health care professionals often need to establish a differential diagnosis between these two disorders.</p> <p>This article is the first part of the literature review and is devoted to the discussion of the phenomenology and diagnostic methods of homonymous hemianopia and neglect. For the first time in the Russian literature, the use of the eytracking method in patients with homonymous hemianopia and neglect is highlighted. The article also provides criteria for the differences between the two disorders.</p> <p>The article contains useful information for health care professionals to make an appropriate diagnosis, which implies subsequent rehabilitation procedures. Rehabilitation methods will be described in detail in the second part of the literature review.</p>
Приведены отличительные критерии обоих расстройств.</p> <p>Статья содержит полезную информацию для медицинских специалистов по постановке соответствующего диагноза и назначению коррекционных процедур (методы коррекции будут подробно изложены во второй части литературного обзора).</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>homonymous hemianopia</kwd><kwd>hemispatial neglect</kwd><kwd>diagnosis</kwd><kwd>eye tracking</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>неглект</kwd><kwd>гемианопсия</kwd><kwd>одностороннее пространственное игнорирование</kwd><kwd>гомонимная гемианопсия</kwd><kwd>диагностика</kwd><kwd>айтрекинг</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The work was supported by the grant of the President of the Russian Federation for state support of young Russian scientists ― candidates of sciences in the biological sciences, GrantNr: MK-3204.2022.1.4.</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Исследование выполнено при финансовой поддержке гранта Президента Российской Федерации для государственной поддержки молодых российских учёных ― кандидатов наук в научном направлении «биологические науки» МК-3204.2022.1.4.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Rowe F, Brand D, Jackson CA, et al.
