The considered combinations between NHC and arylboronic acid residues have been demonstrated using 5 different arylboronic acids and three Cu/NHC complexes. It is also shown that the formation of the azolone NHC=O is due to copper-mediated oxygen transfer from the atmosphere to the carbene center of the NHC. Using a set of experimental physicochemical methods of analysis, as well as with the help and methods of quantum chemistry, it is shown for the first time that the degradation pathway of Cu/NHC complexes through the formation of NHC–R is controlled kinetically, and through the formation of NHC=O - thermodynamically, which makes a significant contribution to the understanding of the observed phenomena.</p>
Комплексом экспериментальных физико-химических методов анализа, а также с помощью методов квантовой химии впервые показано, что путь деградации комплексов Cu/NHC через образование частиц NHC–R контролируется кинетически, а через образование NHC=O – термодинамически, что вносит значительный вклад в понимание наблюдаемых явлений.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>cross-coupling</kwd><kwd>copper</kwd><kwd>NHC</kwd><kwd>Chan–Evans–Lam reaction</kwd><kwd>mass spectrometry</kwd><kwd>electron microscopy</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>кросс-сочетание</kwd><kwd>медь</kwd><kwd>NHC</kwd><kwd>реакция Чана–Эванса–Лама</kwd><kwd>масс-спектрометрия</kwd><kwd>электронная микроскопия</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Российский научный фонд</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Russian Science Foundation</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id>23-13-00171</award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Öfele K. // J.
