The authors abundant use of a variety of musical terms in a figurative sense and her special predilection for them may be explained by her former profession as a musician. The article describes some musical metaphors that stem from the reinterpretation of the names of musical instruments and the peculiarities of sound. A significant number of special musical terms are also subject to metaphorization (e.g., arpeggio, diminuendo, crescendo, cadence). Analysis of this material leads us to conclude that Rubina significantly expands the metaphorical field of «music» by including special terms in it. This enrichment of the metaphorical system of the language reveals new possibilities for the figurative reinterpretation of lexical units and terms.</p>
Рубина значительно расширила метафорическое поле «музыка» за счет вовлечения в него специальных терминов, а это свидетельство того, что обогащается метафорическая система языка в целом, поскольку выявляются новые возможности образного переосмысления лексических единиц.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>metaphorization</kwd><kwd>musical terms</kwd><kwd>musical metaphor</kwd><kwd>artistic text</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>метафоризация</kwd><kwd>музыкальные термины</kwd><kwd>музыкальная метафора</kwd><kwd>художественный текст</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Дмитриев Д.
