Experiments with hypoxic stress revealed clearly the critical period of development of brain cortex, which has a special sensitivity to damage. The first response consists in lesioning of developing brain (apoptosis, necrosis, changes in membrane properties), while modification of histogenetic processes, alteration in NO-system, gliosis can be considered as adaptive response. Protective antihypoxic responses of the brain related to development of blood circulation, initiation of anti-apoptotic processes, elevation of NO synthase activity in brain vessels and it’s decrease in neurons are formed to the end of embryonic period.</p>
К концу эмбрионального периода формируются защитные антигипоксические реакции мозга, связанные с развитием кровообращения, инициацией антиапоптозных процессов, усилением активности NO- синтазы в сосудах мозга и снижением ее в нейробластах.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>intrauterine hypoxia</kwd><kwd>critical periods of development</kwd><kwd>neuroontogenesis</kwd><kwd>apoptosis</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>внутриутробная гипоксия</kwd><kwd>критические периоды развития</kwd><kwd>нейроонтогенез</kwd><kwd>апоптоз</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Российский фонд фундаментальных исследований (грант)</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Russian Foundation for Basic Research (grant)</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id>04-04-48227</award-id></award-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Президент РФ для Государственной поддержки ведущих научных школ РФ (грант)</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Grant of the President of the Russian Federation for State Support of Leading Scientific Schools of the RF</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id>НШ-1163.2003.4</award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Ватаева Л.
