How Coupons and Promotional Codes Work

If you've ever used coupons at the supermarket, you're familiar with the routine. You cut coupons from newspapers and magazines, bring them to the store, and use them to get price limits on specific items.

A coupon is the same as money. For example, if you have a $1.00 off coupon on a case of grain, the clerk will accept it as if it were cash. It isn't as common any longer, but some stores will even double a coupon's presumptive value.
