XXXIII Russian National Congress “Man and Medicine”

Posted: 24.02.2026

From April 20 to 23, the XXXIII Russian National Congress “Man and Medicine” will be held in Moscow in a hybrid format. This event with more than 30 years of history is traditionally recognized as a leading platform for discussing current issues of clinical practice, pharmacotherapy, and disease prevention.

In-person sessions will take place on April 20-21 at The Carlton Hotel (Tverskaya St., 3, Moscow), while online broadcasts will be available from April 22-23 on the official congress website.

Over the years, “Man and Medicine” has established itself as an interdisciplinary federal-scale event: annually, over 8,000 specialists attend it in person, and the online audience exceeds 110,000 listeners. The geography of participants covers all regions of Russia and expands due to delegations from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and other CIS countries.

In 2026, the scientific agenda will be structured into 12 thematic Summits, each becoming an independent platform for in-depth discussion of key areas of internal medicine:

CardioSummit, PulmonoSummit, GastroSummit, NeuroSummit, EndoSummit, OncoSummit;
ClinPharmSummit (clinical pharmacology);
Interdisciplinary Summit and Preventive Innovations Summit;
InnLekSummit (innovative drugs);
Medical Education Organizations Summit.

Each Summit will host plenary meetings, symposia, master classes, clinical case discussions, and round tables.

Special attention will be given to early diagnosis, preventive medical check-ups, rational pharmacotherapy, multimorbidity management, and improving patient adherence to treatment.

The Congress continues its tradition of being an open platform for the scientific growth of young doctors. This year, within the framework of the event, the X Congress of Young Therapists will take place, where students and residents can present their research at competitions for young scientists, discuss clinical cases, and receive feedback from leading experts.

Registration for the Congress is free and open to all interested professionals. Applications for participation in the scientific program, contests or submission of abstracts can be submitted through your personal account on the official website: https://chelovekilekarstvo.ru

It is important to note that within the framework of the Congress, specialized meetings of the Ministry of Health of Russia on therapy, general medical practice, and medical prevention will be held, which emphasizes the role of the event as a platform for developing strategic decisions in healthcare.
