Last years are marked by rapid development of the conception of prion inheritance. The list of yeast proteins, which have been shown to exist in the prion form in vivo, and phenotypic manifestation of prions provide good reason to believe that protein prionization may represent epigenetic mechanism regulating adaptability of a single cell and cellular population to environmental conditions.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В последние годы происходит быстрое развитие представлений о прионах низших эукариот (прежде всего, дрожжей) - наследственных детерминантах белковой природы. Спектр дрожжевых белков, для которых доказано существование прионной формы in vivo, а также фенотипическое проявление прионов, позволяют предполагать, что прионизация белков может использоваться как эпигенетический механизм, регулирующий приспособленность отдельной клетки и популяции в целом к условиям существования.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>белковая наследственность</kwd><kwd>прионы дрожжей</kwd><kwd>фенотипическая изменчивость</kwd><kwd>регуляция</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Галкин А.
