Relation between urodynamic indexes and kidneys function in patients with benign prostate hyperplasia

Amdiy R.E., Al-Shukri S.K.

Abstract

The aim of study: to evaluate the relations nature between urodynamic indexes and indexes showing kidneys function in patients with benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH).Patients and methods: complex urological investigation of 291 patients with BPH (middle age 61,3 ± 0,7 years) including urodynamic investigation was done, and for 63 patients the evaluation of glomerular filtration rate was carried out as well. Results: A power of detrusor’s contractility makes an influence to the serum kreatinine level after surgical treatment of BPH (r = –0,54; p = 0,048). The relation between the power of detrusor’s contractility (r = –0,2; p = 0,047) and urea level was showed up, so in case of decreased bladder contractility the level of urea becomes increased. Presence and grade of infravesical obstruction did not influence on kreatinine and urea concentration in a blood (r = –0,16; p = 0,22; r = –0,02; p = 0,89). If detrusor’s contractility become decreased the glomerular filtration rate is decreased too (r = 0,41; p = 0,035) and enlargement of calyxes-pelvic system is present (CPS) (r = 0,41; p = 0,035). The detrusor’s pressure (r = 0,52; p = 0,01) and the bladder capacity (r = 0,44; p = 0,035) in the process of maximal spontaneous contractility make in influence into the CPS as well. At the same time no relations (r = 0,06; p = 0,74) between detrusor’s hyperactivity and enlargement of CPS were found.Сonclusion. Decreasing of detrusor’s contractility and the presence of uncontrollable constructions in case of large volumes of bladder inflating make a bigger influence to the functional condition of upper urinary tract at the patients with benign prostate hyperplasia then a presence and grade of infravesical obstruction.

Advantages of laser coagulation for bladder leukoplakia

Slesarevskaja M.N., Sokolov A.V., Zarkih A.V.

Abstract

THE AIM OF STUDY is evaluating of laser coagulation efficiency for bladder leukoplakia.Patients and methods: Laser coagulation of changed mucosa was carried out for 117 female patients with bladder leukoplakia using high energetic laser “Lahta-Milon” (Russia) with wave-length 0.81 µm and energy output 16 W. This way of treatment allows for changed bladder mucosa removal without dipper wall lays, lamina propria and muscle lay damages. Results: The more permanent effect of pelvic and urethral pain decreasing as well as dysuria, urodynamic parameters normalization after laser coagulation of chanced mucosa of bladder in patients with chronic cystitis in combination with bladder planocellular epithelial metaplasia was proofed. Cоnclusion: The main advantages of laser coagulation for chanced bladder mucosa are minimal surgical trauma, good haemostasis, absence of intraoperative complications, fast (under one month) elimination of bladder’s tunica mucosa from eschar, short period of rehabilitation after surgical operation.

Tamm–Horsfall protein — POTENTIAL MARKER OF EARLY STAGES urolithiasis and stone recurence

Al-Shukri S.K., Goloschapov E.T., Emanuel Y.V., Gobachev M.I.

Abstract

Tamm–Horsfall protein is renal glycoprotein and was first isolated from urine in 1950. In recent years attention to this matter has increased, since an association between it and the formation of stones in urolithiasis. The paper presents data on physico-chemical and biological properties of Tamm–Horsfall protein, allowing it to be regarded as a potential marker of urolithiasis and recurrent stone formation

Peculiarities of hemostasisin transurethral resection of prostatic gland using fybrinolysis inhibitor

Korneyev I.A., Sukhanov Y.A.

Abstract

Urothelial cancer, in 90 % cases presented as bladder cancer, is the most common malignant neoplasm in urinary tract. Organ-sparing treatment for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer, combined with chemotherapy and immunotherapy, is a standard method, in muscle-invasive tumors radical surgical treatment in combination with chemotherapy is applied. Various prognostic criteria are under investigation now.

Al-Shukri S.K., Nevirovich E.S., Lukichev G.B., Sukhanov Y.A.

Abstract

Today radical nephrectomy (RN) is a gold standart of treatment localized kindney cancer (stage T1–2). The partial nephrectomy (PN) shows the same oncological outcomes as RN on this stage. However there are few artikles of efficiasy PN in kidney cancer more than 7 cm. The case report and review of literature is presented.
