The introduction of the method of optical coherence tomography into clinical practice made it possible to describe new variants of structural changes in myopia, in particular, peripapillary intrachoroidal cavitation. The article presents a clinical case and provides known data on this rare condition in pathological myopia.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>При патологической миопии осевое удлинение глазного яблока сопровождается различными изменениями глазного дна. Внедрение в клиническую практику метода оптической когерентной томографии позволило описать новые варианты структурных изменений при миопии, в частности перипапиллярную интрахориоидальную кавитацию.
