Hb-ret is less invasive than bone iron examination, less expensive than iron biochemical tests and might be available even in local laboratories. This review covers reports published mainly in 2020 and some other studies dedicated to clinical application of Hb-ret measured by Sysmex hematology analyzers.</p>
</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>reticulocyte hemoglobin content</kwd><kwd>iron deficiency</kwd><kwd>iron deficiency anemia</kwd><kwd>thalassemia</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>содержание ретикулоцитарного гемоглобина</kwd><kwd>дефицит железа</kwd><kwd>железодефицитная анемия</kwd><kwd>талассемия</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="zh"><kwd>网织红细胞血红蛋白含量</kwd><kwd>缺铁</kwd><kwd>缺铁性贫血</kwd><kwd>地中海贫血</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Ogawa C, Tsuchiya K, Tomosugi N, et al.
