Patients with mild stable COPD were found to have increased absolute number of all cells, including neutrophils and macrophages in the induced sputum in comparison with patients with chronic bronchitis. The inflammatory process in the lungs increases along with airflow limitation degree</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>На основе изучения клеточного состава индуцированной мокроты проводилась сравнительная оценка выраженности воспалительного процесса, развивающегося в легких при воздействии табачного дыма, у 11 больных ХОБЛ легкого и 12 средней степени тяжести в стадии стабильного течения, а также у 30 больных хроническим бронхитом, ассоциированным с курением, и 13 курильщиков. Выявлено, что у мужчин больных ХОБЛ легкого течения в сравнении с группой мужчин с хроническим бронхитом, ассоциированным с курением, в индуцированной мокроте повышены показатели абсолютного числа всех клеточных элементов, в том числе нейтрофилов и макрофагов. При увеличении выраженности бронхиальной обструкции возрастает активность воспалительного процесса.
