Abstract
The studies of Martian magnetic field have begun about 50 years ago. The most peculiar is the fact that the question of the nature of the measured field emerged again and again after it had been closed several times. Almost every new spacecraft brought the data that did a little to shed the light upon the origin of the Martian magnetic field. The paper presents a new interpretation of the results of the previous missions, in the hope to bring the end to the seemingly everlasting scientific discussions.
