Resumo
In recent decades, observations of molecular emission and absorption lines have become a powerful tool to investigate various processes in interstellar and circumstellar medium. However, interpretation of these observations is often hampered by the lack of necessary atomic and molecular data. The need in experimental measurements of various parameters for radiative and chemical processes has triggered the appearance of a new field of astronomy — laboratory astrochemistry. This article describes specific problems of laboratory astrochemistry and basic methods of their solution.
