详细

Black holes, mysterious objects, have attracted scientists for several decades. Today we confidently observe two types of black holes, the black holes of stellar masses that occur as the result of the collapse of massive stars and supermassive blackholes in the central parts of galaxies. However in the late eighties of the XXth century astronomers found observational evidences for one more type of black holes, the black holes of intermediate masses. In this article we discuss how modern ground-based and space-borne telescopes and the Virtual observatory help astronomers to search and discover the black holes of this particular type.
