Cognitive rehabilitation in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) have diminished cognitive functions associated with impaired carbohydrate metabolism. Cognitive rehabilitation has positive effects in reducing HbA1 and improving cognitive functions in patients with T1DM.
