Abstract
The ocular manifestations of diabetes mellitus (DM) occupy one of the leading places in the pattern of diseases leading to diminished vision and blindness. The review describes different clinical types of eye diseases and the current capacities of the diagnosis of functional and organic changes in the organ of vision in DM.
